These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes may be resolved in the courts of Queensland, or in another jurisdiction we designate, at our sole discretion.
If you’re using CQ from outside Australia, you’re responsible for following your local laws. Some provisions of these Terms may be subject to mandatory local rules, like data protection laws in your region.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time without advance notice. Check back regularly.
Continued use of CQ after updates means you accept the revised Terms. If you don’t agree, your only remedy is to stop using CQ.
We’ll let you know about updates to these Terms via email or a notice on the Site at least 7 days before they take effect.
11. Severability Clause
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed from the Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, functionality, content, tool, or part of the Site (checheq.com) at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
This includes the right to add, remove, or change elements of the Site to improve performance, comply with legal requirements, or align with our evolving strategy. We are under no obligation to maintain any specific part of the Site, and we make no guarantees about uninterrupted access or feature availability.
13. Termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to CQ (checheq.com), its content, or any part of its services, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
Grounds for termination may include, but are not limited to

- Fraudulent, disruptive, or abusive conduct;
- Harmful actions against CQ, its systems, or its users;
- Legal obligations or compliance requests.
Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that, by their nature, survive termination—including those related to intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability—will remain in effect.
Any personal data you provided will be deleted within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain it or as otherwise stated in our Privacy Policy. We’ll do our best to notify you by email if the Site is shutting down or your account is affected.

- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

If you believe your content was removed in error, you can submit a counter-notice using the contact info in Section 15 with your name, contact details, a description of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your physical or electronic signature. We’ll review your counter-notice and may restore the content if appropriate.
